Table glass no.1

Table glass no.1
Ceramic has always been my foundation, a material that grounds me in touch, rhythm, and transformation. Yet I’ve long felt the pull to move beyond it, to explore how other materials might carry the same intuitive language.
This year, I returned to a project I began several years ago and stepped into glass. Translating familiar gestures and forms from clay into this new medium opened an unexpected space for discovery. I developed a small collection for this purpose, each piece mouth-blown in the Netherlands, entirely unique, and shaped by breath, heat, and time.
Glass moves differently. Where ceramic absorbs and settles, glass resists and flows, formed through heat, finding stillness only as it cools. It is at once direct and elusive, transparent yet deeply complex, demanding a different kind of intuition.
This collection marks a gradual shift in my practice. I’m beginning to introduce more work under my own name, a natural unfolding that reflects where I am today.
While 2222STUDIO remains an essential part of my story, I’m allowing space for something more personal to emerge: work that feels more direct, more instinctive, and closer to the core of my practice.
